The World Religion Database has added analyzed results from a further 360 surveys and data sources covering many countries and years:

38 Afrobarometer Surveys (province level data)
202 World Values Surveys (country level data)
119 country-level Muslim percentages for 1988 from the Population Reference Bureau
and the 2008 "Pew Religious Landscape Survey" for the USA (province level data)

Substantial data updates have been incorporated across many countries

Substantial data updates have been incorporated across many countries (China, India, Indonesia) this quarter from new Census and survey data. The most notable is the designation of many Indonesians from being counted as 'New religionists with Islamic influence', to being ‘Muslims with syncretistic practices'.
